Grover is young (just over 1 yr. old) and a devilishly handsome gray and white Am. Staff- kinda guy with a lot of puppy energy to expend on during fun adventures with an active adopter. He can focus and walk decently on his leash, and he enjoys interacting with his handler, who must be strong enough to handle him as he is pretty strong/ when he gets a chance to run around and be outside of the noisy and distracting kennel environment. He needs a home without cats or small dogs. He has participated in large dog playgroups with tolerant, high energy dogs who can take his pushy, inexperienced style without taking offense to it. He has been so good with large, high energy dogs. He can’t be around small dogs right now- he is too rough and could injure or kill them with his size and weight. We think he’s a great boy, who reminds us of a little kid, with interest in everything and a lot to learn about the world. He can definitely improve in all areas with training for his puppy brain, and a life with structure and a predictable routine would be extremely beneficial! He has SO much potential to be a great dog with some time and patience! Please help him get the life and love he needs to reach that potential.
