My main heartbreak these days is the number of people taking their animals to the pound. I would suggest taking the poor guy to a non-kill shelter. There are plenty around and they’re crowded, however they will do everything in their power to place the pet in a loving home. Of course the ideal situation is for YOU to find the perfect home for your best friend. With the Internet my rescue friends and I have found many homes for abandoned pets. The power of networking is amazing!
